The Temple of Logic is one of the six temples sacred to the forces that form Order, Chaos and Balance. This once belongs to Order. Situated deep inside a mountain, the Temple of Logic demands a cunning intellect before granting access to the Water of Logic.
In Ultima VII Part Two, the Avatar had to get the water to heal Iolo. The hero had to solve various puzzles, including a murder mystery, to get access to the fountain with the water. During that process, the Avatar also discovered the destroyed prison of the Insanity Bane.
