Sword of Stone Strike

The Sword of Stone Strike is truly a fantastic weapon. It is not be the strongest sword available, but more than makes up for this with its special ability to temporarily paralyze the enemy after a hit; a grey aura causing foes to appear as if turned to stone. With every successive hit renewing this paralysis, the use of this sword can result in a very one-sided duel. Its only weakness is that it doesn't work on undead, such as Liches.

It is found only in Ultima Underworld II, on the first floor of the Tomb of Praecor Loth on Rhiannon, in the southeastern corner of that floor.

Trivia[]

The Sword of Stone Strike is really the best weapon in Ultima Underworld II, making fights with normally tough opponents (such as Destroyer Daemons, Dorstag or Mors Gotha) much easier. It borders on being a game breaker.
