Sven is a pirate found on Buccaneer's Den.
Meeting him in Ultima V, Sven was insistent on being a pirate. The Avatar found out, why, as before Sven had been a glassblower. A job that, as he admitted, hadn't been enough to make a living. Sven spoke about the various things he'd made of glass, but admitted that he hadn't been skilled enough for glass swords. However, he'd heard of an airship having crashed in Serpent's Spine, with these swords on board.
This rumor would prove true later, as the Avatar found the swords.
