Smithy is the croupier of the House of Games on Buccaneer's Den in Ultima VII.
Smithy explained to the Avatar that he was responsible for explaining the games and foiling cheaters. After the Avatar signed into Gordy's register, Smithy went on to explain the rules of the three games available (Rat Race, Virtue Roulette and Triples), and warned the Avatar that cheating would be severely punished.
