Merzan is a trader in Killorn Keep.
The Avatar met him when visiting Killorn Keep in Ultima Underworld II. Merzan offered his services to the Avatar for a good price, including magical objects, potions, recharging of objects and identification of artifacts. Additionally Merzan knew of some new spells and was a spring of information about Killorn Keep.
He was probably killed if the Avatar causes Killorn Keep to crash to the ground.

- Merzan is the Avatar's most important source of potions in Ultima Underworld II, so it is important to always have much gold to buy his things.
- When the Avatar is not proficient in magic arts, a potion of Iron Flesh may be obtained from Merzan to harden Filanum mud.
