Mass Sleep
What if the foes aren't really evil? When the caster is endangered by non-evil creatures he or she doesn't want to kill, then this stronger version of the Sleep spell is very useful. Casting it will cause a whole group of foes to fall asleep, allowing the caster and party to peacefully walk away from the site of a possible battle.
