Lord R'hien is a warrior of the Lycaeum and Royal Keeper of the Horses in the time of Ultima V.
Ultima V: Lazarus[]

In Ultima V: Lazarus, R'hien was born in Serpent's Hold to two knights, and descended from a long line of knights. R'hien easily grew into the arts of swordplay, jousting, and other practical sports favored by paladins. He soon became a knight and, in a typical display of Courage, Honor and the rest, traversed Britannia in search of noble quests.
He partook in many adventures before he eventually came to Trinsic, where he met Lady Hayden while appraising the horses in the stable she worked in. Friendship between them grew, but he eventually returned to Serpent's Hold and she chose to go to the Lycaeum to study the arts of magic. They kept in contact up until the year Blackthorn's tyranny began, when R'hien (now a full member of the Order of the Silver Serpent) moved to the Lycaeum. The two wed, and remained in residence at the Keep of Truth. Because of his skill with horses, Lord Shalineth gave R'hien charge of the Royal Stables.
Lord R'hien and Lady Hayden go riding regularly, and one night they chanced to find Mariah, wounded by a Shadowlord, in the forest. The two, knowing that the Avatar's companions were outlawed, nevertheless took Mariah to the Lycaeum for healing.
