Jessica was known as the healer over at Sanctuary which is located over at Cove in Ultima V: Lazarus. Her former owner and teacher had passed away during the time which lead her to take over the Sanctuary. She never left the town is what she told the hero and she didn't care who ever ruled Britannia and what was going on out in the world.
Jessica told the hero that two friends, her, and her older sister was found as babies outside Temple of the Virtues in a basket. They could not be removed by the villagers from the Temple because they would start to cry which lead to her and two of the friends to stay there and be taken care of. Jessica would not name who her sister was because the three supposedly had powers of some sort of which they used.
