Once kind-hearted peasants, Hoods have been twisted by Mondain's influence, and now prowl the Realm committing wonton acts of violence. Since they were formerly simple folk, most aren't particularly tough or adept in combat, and are usually unconcerned with their victims' material possessions. They oftentimes are led by Dark Knights.
Hoods are found on Sosaria's surface, typically in the forested regions.

When the corrupt influence of the unspeakable Mondain spread throughout the Realm, even some of our stalwart peasants fell under the sway of the evil wizard. These warped individuals now roam the countryside attacking travelers. While unskilled in the use of arms, they nonetheless pose quite a nuisance to adventurers.
