Getting the ring
The force field ring is an important item in Ultima II. Only with it can the force fields in Minax's castle be passed without harm.
The Stranger met an old man in New San Antonio who was willing to sell the ring, but only after the Stranger got the blessing from Father Antos. After going to Planet X in the future and getting the blessing, the Stranger received the Ring. With it, it was no problem to walk through the force fields in Minax' castle Shadowguard in the Time of Legends.
