Emerson is an injured man that could be found in The Mystic Heal in Skara Brae during Ultima IV.
The Stranger met Emerson in his sickbed. He told the Stranger that he was grievously wounded, but that he sought the spiritual path, which is stronger than any material force. He also mentioned that nothing can bring one peace but the triumph of Principles.
