The Companions
The Companions of the Avatar are the eight potential party members to accompany the Stranger on the way to becoming the Avatar during his quest in Ultima IV. Each is a member of one of the eight professions, and exemplifies one of the Eight Virtues.
They are:
- Mariah the Mage
- Iolo the Bard
- Geoffrey the Fighter
- Jaana the Druidess
- Julia the Tinker
- Dupre the Paladin
- Shamino the Ranger
- Katrina the Shepherdess
Although famous for their role during Ultima IV, the companions can often be found (and sometimes accompany the Avatar), in other Ultima games.
