Captain Blyth is the shipwright of Minoc during the time of Ultima V. Like all merchants, he had little dialogue, although others have a lot to say about him. Windmire mentions that Blyth is a cruel man. Fenelon also says this. Also he's said to have enslaved Fenelon and Rew.

In Lazarus, Captain Blyth is much more fleshed-out. He is shown to be an extremely cruel man, working together with the Oppression. His enslavement of Fenelon and Rew is shown, especially how cruel he treats Rew.
The Ultima 6 Project[]

However, as shown in the Ultima 6 Project, his nastiness gives him a bad end. After the fall of the Oppression, he tried to bully the people of Minoc into submission, but a flaming appeal to the people by Fenelon broke the spell and everyone despised Blyth from then on. Blyth tried to get revenge on Fenelon, only to get beaten bloody and dragged over the stairs of the lighthouse.
In the end, he went with pirates and tried to cheat them. End result: he became the personal slave of Captain Hawkins. A fitting end for a slaver.
