Balema is the world Gorn originates from. According to Gorn in Ultima VII, Balema is a land of vast snow-covered mountains and dark forests. Life is not easy there, but it makes boys into warriors and heroes.

Balema is the world where The Quest and Ring Quest games take place. Gorn appears in both games helping the player in the adventure.
