Anteform is a game built using the Minima Engine for PICO-8, featuring gameplay and graphics similar to the Commodore 8-bit releases of Ultima II, Ultima III, and Ultima IV, but with an overall length more similar to Ultima I and a weird detective themed story that fits in more with Worlds of Ultima. The protagonist starts off after having been dropped off alone and unarmed in remote Anteform Valley. There is a mystery afoot. Local Steve Johanson has vanished and the protagonist's detective agency has been hired by his girlfriend Sally Franklin to find him. Even before departing it is learned that there's been another disappearance, and it quickly becomes apparent that it's not just an ordinary missing persons case. Something strange is happening in Anteform Valley.
The game can be played on MS-Windows, Mac, Linux, PocketCHIP, Raspberry Pi, and online on many platforms.
